Khufiya is Vishal Bhardwaj's written, directed and produced neo-noir spy thriller film. Starring Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi and Ali Fazal in pivotal roles, the upcoming Netflix film is based on an espionage novel named Escape to Nowhere by Amar Bhushan. After an intriguing official trailer, the makers have dropped a new promo video featuring Tabu as a spy agent, who is set to nab the traitors in the country.

The latest promo video features Tabu as an agent of the secret agency of India. Posing as a character named Krishna Mehra, the talented actress says, "The way a drop of water is enough to extinguish the flames of fire, similarly, for the thousands of traitors of the country just one patriot is enough." Moving on, the video gives a glimpse of the movie and witnesses Tabu in action and fighting sequences. 

The makers released the latest promo video with a special caption on Netflix's YouTube channel that reads, "#Khufiya #netflixindia Kya ek wafadaar saare gaddaaron ko expose kar paayegi? #Khufiya, premieres 5 October, only on Netflix! (sic)."

All about Khufiya

Written by the director himself alongside Rohan Narula, the espionage thriller drama movie is bankrolled by Vishal Bhardwaj and Rekha Bhardwaj under the banner of VB Films Production in association with Netflix. The making of the film began in October 2021 and was officially announced for the first time at Netflix Tudum:A Global Fan Event. Khufiya, which also features Ashish Vidyarthi, Atul Kulkarni, Navnindra Behl, Shataf Figar, Azmeri Haque, Badhon, Lalit Parimoo and Rahul Vohra in key roles, is slated to release on October 5 to stream online only on Netflix.
