Khufiya, a spy thriller directed by Vishal Bhardwaj is all set to premiere on Netflix. The film features Tabu, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Azmeri Haque Badhon and is based on a book called "Escape to Nowhere" authored by the former Chief of the Counter Espionage Unit of R&AW, Amar Bhushan, and is based on real events.

In the trailer, Tabu is seen playing RAW agent Krishna Menon, and Ali Fazal is seen playing Dev, who is thought to be the mole selling India's defense secrets. Although Ali's character is shown as a traitor, he continuously defends himself. We can anticipate many twists and turns in the movie because to the compelling background music and superb acting.

Sharing the trailer on their official social media page, Netflix India wrote: "Yahan hathiyaar ke roop hain alag, aur jung hai khufiya. In a world of spies, the traitor must be brought to light. #Khufiya, streaming from Oct 5, only on Netflix!"

Talking about Khufiya, the director said, “I have always been very fascinated with the world of espionage and am truly excited to explore this genre with Khufiya. This film also gave me a chance to reunite with Tabu, and work for the very first time with two very talented actors- Ali Fazal and Wamiqa Gabbi. It also marks my partnership with Netflix and I cannot wait to share this thrilling story with viewers across 190 countries.”

About Khufiya

The movie, which also stars Ashish Vidyarthi and Azmeri Haque Badhon, is based on the book Escape to Nowhere, which was written by the former Chief of the Counter Espionage Unit of R&AW, Amar Bhushan. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, Netflix will start streaming it starting on October 5.
