Khushi Kapoor made her Bollywood big screen debut with Loveyapa recently. The movie also starred Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan, and has seen only a fair performance at the Box Office. When celebrating her debut, Khushi missed her mother Sridevi. Remembering the legendary actress, Khushi confessed that she cannot be like her even in 100 years.
Loveyapa was the first time Khushi Kapoor appeared on the big screen. The actress had already made her OTT acting debut with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies but it was Loveyapa that Khushi missed her late mother, the veteran actress Sridevi. "When I saw myself on the big screen for the first time, I missed her a lot," she told Hindustan Times.
Back when Janhvi Kapoor's Dhadak released, she was constantly compared to Sridevi. The same has now passed on to Khushi Kapoor. However, Khushi confesses that she cannot be Sridevi even in 100 years. "I can't be like my mom even in the next 100 years. She was made of a different mould; they don't make artistes like her anymore," Khushi said, adding that she and Janhvi will always be proud daughters who feel their mother will always play a huge part in their lives.
After The Archies and Loveyapa, Khushi will be back on OTT. She is a part of Nadaaniyan. The film is likely to mark Ibrahim Ali Khan's debut into acting. The movie is scheduled for March 7 release. The film is a love story between a Noida boy and a South Delhi girl, which are two different worlds even if they are neighbouring states.
