Kiara Advani’s fans can bounce with joy today! If reports are to be believed, the 31-year-old young promising actress is going to play the lead role alongside superstars Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly anticipated film Baiju Bawra.

Sources close to the development told news portal Filmfare today that “Kiara Advani has signed the Sanjay Leela Bhansali upcoming directorial Baiju Bawra alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh.”
If this news is true, then this will be the second film wherein Kiara Advani and Ranveer Singh are cast together. Before Baiju Bawra, Kiara and Ranveer will share screen space in Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming directorial Don 3.

In an interview with journalist Subhash K Jha last year, renowned filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali expressed that Baiju Bawra will have 11-12 songs. “How can I ever hope to compose songs like the great Naushad Saab did in Baiju Bawra, like Mann tarpat hari darshan and O duniya ke rakhwale and where will I find a voice like Mohammed Rafi? My version of the film will be in sync with our times and the talent available. My Baiju Bawra will be as different from the original Baiju Bawra as my Devdas was from Bimal Roy’s version of Devdas,” Bhansali had said.
