The gorgeous Kiara Advani is currently busy gearing up for her much awaited film Shershaah, opposite her rumored beau Sidharth Malhotra. Directed by Vishnuvardhan, the biographical war film follows the story of Param Vir Chakra awardee and army captain Vikram Batra. While Sidharth is playing the role of Batra in the film, Kiara will portray his on-screen fiancé Dimple Cheema. Watching the two together in the trailer and songs is a delight and fans can confidently say that Kiara has come a long way.

In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Kiara was asked about her ‘moment of courage’. The actress shared that it was right after the failure of her debut film Fugly. She was quoted saying, “The film didn't work and from there, I was like 'I don't know what I'm going to do with my life, I don't know if I'll get a second chance, another opportunity.' Of course, I was much younger and I felt that it's not going to happen. I just started feeling very low. I didn't want to go out, I didn't want to meet people and all of that.”

However, she decided that just because her debut didn’t turn out the way she expected it to, does not mean that she stops trying. She got herself together, took acting classes and gave it another shot. Kiara explained, “I just decided that I am not going to stop, I am going to keep going and believe in myself. That was my moment of courage.”

Well, this is something many of us can learn from Kiara-- don’t give up right after your first attempt! Life can turn out even more wonderfully than you expected it to.
