The third edition of the KCC, or the Kannada Chalanachitra Cup, will soon get underway in Mysuru with the some of the biggest superstars of the Kannada Film Industry featuring in it. The upcoming cricket tournament will have Kiccha Sudeep, Dhananjaya, Golden Star Ganesh and Shiva Rajkumar headlining it with several ex international cricketers, too, taking part in it to add to the excitement and quality. KCC will be a two-day affair held on February 11th and 12th in Mysuru and ahead of the games, the committee will also conduct a round of auctions on January 26th. To make things all the more interesting, the upcoming edition will also include 6 non-film players spread across the same number of teams.

Discussing this and a lot more, the core members of KCC convened earlier today at Bengaluru's Chinnaswamy Stadium with members of the press and other media in attendance. The main attraction of the event was Kiccha Sudeep who took the centre stage to not only shed light on what's to come but also share a few interesting thoughts on the significance of the tournament. For Sudeep, in particular, the tournament allows him to indulge in a sport that he truly loves and also run shoulders with some of the icons of the cricketing world.

When asked whether the tournament and its preceding arrangements come in the way of his work, Sudeep said, "KCC is as important to me as my films are and the reason I've gotten so involved is to ensure we do a good job in organizing the tournament. And in this regard, I have my friends and an entire committee for support because KCC is a brand in itself and it represents our Kannada Film Industry. It will be a fantastic tournament and of course, we will make time for it. And KCC doesn't come in the way of my work. If at all my films are getting delayed then I'm the reason behind that and no one else. In order to pick a film, I need to like the script and certain other things will have to align themselves".

On the work front, Sudeep's fans are ardently waiting for an update regarding his next. The 51-year-old actor was last seen in Anup Bhandari's Vikrant Rona as the titular character and his next project, 'Kiccha46', is yet to be finalized.
