The Celebrity Cricket League has kicked off the milestone 10th season with a spectacular show in Dubai on February 2, 2024, projecting the season’s promo on the Burj Khalifa. Several team members from the 8 participating teams, including Kichcha Sudeep (Karnataka Bulldozers), Sohail Khan (Mumbai Heroes), Arya and Jiiva (Chennai Rhinos), Thaman and Sudheer Babu (Telugu Warriors ), Jissu Sengupta (Bengal Tigers), Bunnu Dhillon and Sonu Sood (Punjab De Sher), Indrajit Sukumaran and Unni Mukundhan (Kerala Strikers) watched it live in Dubai.
A sportainment spectacle, the Celebrity Cricket League brings over 200 actors from 8 different languages together. This time around, the league starts on February 23 in Sharjah with all 8 teams playing a match or two in the first weekend. The following three weekends will unfold in India with 20 action-packed T10 matches. The adrenaline-pumping tournament will be live-streamed on Sony Sports Ten 5 and Jio Cinema along with multiple regional channels.

Sudeep, who’s had the promos of his films launched on the Burj Khalifa earlier, said that seeing himself on it as a cricketer was special. “I have been on the Burj Khalifa earlier for my films, but seeing myself on the Burj Khalifa as a cricketer is special and unforgettable.”
Sonu Sood added, “Being alongside superstars representing 8 vibrant film industries, standing together in front of the world’s tallest iconic structure watching the launch of something the whole India passionately love to is an amazing experience.”
