Killer Soup announcement - Manoj Bajpayee and Konkona Sensharma stir up mischief in Abhishek Chaubey's Netflix series

A whimsical story takes place in the picturesque southern Indian town of Mainjur while the ethereal melody of the old standard Tu Hi Re floats through the air. Killer Soup, an offbeat crime series based on an actual news story, is touted as appealing to all tastes with its delicious mix of mystery and black comedy. Abhishek Chaubey, along with Honey Trehan and Chetana Kowshik, created, directed, and co-wrote the Netflix series, featuring actors such as Manoj Bajpayee, Konkona Sensharma, Nasser, Sayaji Shinde, and Lal.

Synopsis:

Killer Soup is a one-of-a-kind offering that combines an unfathomable crime with the dark comedy that has become Chaubey's trademark. Aspiring but untalented home chef Swathi Shetty concocts a crazy scheme to have her lover Umesh take over Prabhakar's position. However, things take a turn for the worst when an incompetent local inspector and some amateur villains throw everything into the mix. In the new year, on January 11, this flavour mixture will be presented.
