The reality superstar Kim Kardashian is gearing up to return with Ryan Murphy in another series but this time she is becoming the most successful divorce lawyer. Taking her acting career to another milestone, Kim Kardashian joined Hulu for the upcoming legal drama.
Kim Kardashian and Ryan Murphy’s new drama
Hollywood’s glamorous media personality, Kim Kardashian is all set to reteam with her previous project partner, writer-producer Ryan Murphy. The 43-year-old star had earlier delivered a power-packed performance in the latest season of American Horror Story - delicate.
According to Deadline, the budding actress will be portraying a stoic Los Angeles divorce lawyer leading an all-female law firm. This legal drama is jointly written by Jon Robin Baitz (creator of Brothers & Sisters) and Joe Baken. While Kim Kardashian’s mother and reality star Kris Jenner will be serving as an executive producer.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star had earlier told CNN that she is eyeing a prestigious law degree and is preparing for the bar exam in real life. “I always joke with my mom, who’s my manager. I say, ‘Kim K is retiring, and I’m just going to be an attorney,’ she said.
Fans might need to wait until the end of 2024 or early 2025 to witness Kim Kardashian’s fierce avatar as the successful lawyer in the procedural drama as it is still under development. According to Deadline sources, the cast is yet to be finalized apart from Kim Kardashian.
Kim Kardasian solid acting debut in American Horror Story
Kim Kardashian got her breakthrough in acting with Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchu's horror anthology series. Based on Danielle Valentine's book Delicate Condition, the series rolled out its twelfth season with the main recurring cast, Emma Roberts, Dominic Burgess, Denis O'Hare, Leslie Grossman, and Billie Lourd. It also added some fresh faces like Kim Kardashian, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez in the Delicate season.
Previously, it was also announced that Kim Kardashian will also star in a comedy movie, The Fifth Wheel with an ensemble cast.
