King: After Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff to reunite with Shah Rukh Khan after a decade

King, the next action-packed thriller from Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and filmmaker Siddharth Anand, follows the huge success of Pathaan. Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, and Abhay Verma are all part of the film's impressive ensemble cast, and filming is scheduled to start on May 20, 2025.
Jackie Shroff joins King
Jackie Shroff (Atithi Bhooto Bhava and Ottu) has reportedly joined the cast for a major role, which is a giant surprise according to people familiar with the film. A source shared with Pinkvilla that Anand narrated the basic world of King to Shroff along with his character arc, and the actor took no time to come on board the film. The actor is giddy with anticipation as SRK and he set out on their thrilling adventure. Looking forward to working with the superstar on the set of King, Shroff considers him one of the most successful and generous producers in Indian cinema.
Since Shah Rukh, Shroff, and Kapoor had previously been together in the 1995 smash blockbuster Trimurti, the film is particularly noteworthy because it brings them all back together. The legendary trio's King collaboration has admirers of their previous work together very excited. One insider went on to say that King has one of the largest ensembles for a feature film in modern times, as every character has been cast to perfection with actors who fit the bill to a T.

Shah Rukh Khan's assassin role
