King: Arshad Warsi joins Shah Rukh Khan alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana Khan?

King, starring Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Siddharth Anand, is an action entertainer that fans have been eagerly awaiting, and now reports have it that Arshad Warsi has officially joined the cast. The addition of the actor to the film's already impressive cast is sure to increase interest in the Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Productions film.

Even though Peeping Moon doesn't know much about Warsi's role just yet, his addition is a giant step forward for the movie. In addition to SRK, Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Abhay Verma, Deepika Padukone is said to have an extended cameo in King as the mother of Suhana and a former lover of the superstar. The addition just adds to the excitement of what is sure to be an exhilarating journey.

Nearly 20 years after their brief onscreen appearance in the romance drama Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaye in 2005, SRK and Warsi will finally work together as co-stars in King. The superstar had a brief cameo in that film; now, the two actors will team up for an intense action extravaganza.

Siddharth Anand tight-lipped on King

Anand, who is famous for making gigantic action flicks, is being tight-lipped about Warsi's part. Fans, though, are giddy with anticipation to see what this dynamic duo brings to the big screen as a result of his casting.

Reports indicate that Jaideep Ahlawat is also in talks to play a significant role in the film, alongside Warsi. Unfortunately, there's no confirmation of his casting status yet.

Anticipation for King

King, a classic Siddharth Anand show, promises action, romance, and exciting scenes. After a terrible tragedy disrupts Suhana's life, the film follows Shah Rukh, who portrays an experienced assassin, as he sets out on a path of revenge with her character. There are hints of the 2000 action thriller Bichhoo, starring Bobby Deol and Rani Mukerji, which was a loose adaptation of the French film Léon: The Professional from 1994.

The makers of King are targeting a theatrical release in the fourth quarter of 2026, and filming is set to begin on May 18 in Mumbai.

This adds to Warsi's already stellar resume of high-profile projects. The actor is now filming Dhamaal 4 with Indra Kumar. He is renowned for his role as Circuit in the Munna Bhai films. Plus, Warsi has a slew of upcoming films, like Welcome to the Jungle, Jeevan Bheema Yojana, and Pritam Pedro, and he'll be featured alongside Akshay Kumar in the highly anticipated Jolly LLB 3.

The stellar cast of King is sure to make it one of the most talked-about films of 2026.
