Ever since news about Shah Rukh Khan's King surfaced on social media, fans have been waiting for updates every day. King is one of the most anticipated films and stars Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, and Abhay Verma in key roles. Now the cast also includes Jaideep Ahlawat, Anil Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff. A new report gave details about Jaideep's character in King.
Jaideep Ahlawat's role in King
A Bollywood Bubble report mentioned that Jaideep Ahlawat will play the role of an antagonist in Shah Rukh Khan's King. A source told the portal that Shah Rukh Khan himself reached out to Ahlawat, personally called and requested him to come on board. "He will be seen portraying a powerful antagonist in the film, sharing the villainous space with veteran actor Jackie Shroff. Talks are currently underway, and the shooting for Ahlawat’s portions is expected to begin soon," the source added.

The Ram Lakhan Jodi of Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff has joined the cast of King, as per Pinkvilla. The portal mentioned that director Siddharth Anand narrated the basic world of King to Jackie Shroff along with his character arc, and the actor came on board the film without hesitation.
"Jackie is all excited to embark on this action-packed journey with Shah Rukh Khan and the team. Jackie feels that Shah Rukh Khan is the most accomplished and large-hearted producers of Indian Cinema, and is looking forward to be on the sets on King," the source added.
While Shroff will be presented in a very different light, Anil Kapoor is reportedly set to play the mentor of SRK in King. Meanwhile, King is a high-stakes action thriller where Shah Rukh's character, a fearsome don, mentors Suhana's character, guiding her through a dangerous world after a tragedy. On the other hand, SRK and Deepika will be romantically paired together, as per reports.
King is reportedly aiming to release in the last quarter of 2026.
