It has been quite some time since we last saw Vijay Deverakonda score a hit. Naturally, he has pinned all his hopes on his upcoming film, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. After making fans wait for the longest time, the makers have finally unveiled the teaser, and it looks explosive.

Kingdom teaser review

Firstly, the film has been titled Kingdom, and Vijay Deverakonda is introduced in a beastly avatar. His bald look and chiselled physique present him in a completely new and intense persona. One of the biggest highlights of the teaser is the voiceover by Jr NTR. His deep, commanding voice and the way he introduces Vijay Deverakonda’s character are nothing short of spectacular.

The teaser hints at a reincarnation theme, where Vijay Deverakonda’s character returns to save his people. It showcases two parallel worlds and a massive prison setup, adding an intriguing layer to the narrative. Anirudh’s background score is riveting and elevates every visual, making the teaser even more powerful.

When it comes to scale, casting, and setup, director Gowtam Tinnanuri has taken things to another level. Several jaw-dropping shots in the teaser highlight Vijay’s intense and emotional transformation, leaving audiences stunned. However, the female lead, Bhagyashree Borse, is notably absent from the teaser.

Navin Nooli, the editor, has cut the teaser in a way that effectively showcases the film’s grandeur while keeping the plot under wraps. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are producing the film on a massive scale, and reports suggest that Kingdom will be released in two parts.

The teaser also hints at the birth of a new force in India to combat evil. How this ties into the period setting will be revealed in the trailer. For now, the teaser of Kingdom has exceeded all expectations. The makers have also locked the release date, and Kingdom will hit theaters on May 30, 2025, in Hindi and all major South Indian languages.
