However, Kingdom was unable to sustain the momentum and ended up with below-average numbers. The action-packed film follows a cop, who goes to Sri Lanka to track down a dreaded criminal. The twist is that the don is his brother. The film also stars Bhagyashri Borse.

Popular actress Swasika, who was recently seen in the Tamil hit film Maaman, plays the titular role. Swasika also won the Kerala State Award for Best Character Actress.
