Kingston, the recently released Tamil film starring actor-composer GV Prakash in the lead role, is all set to make its OTT debut. The film’s post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by ZEE5. It will premiere on the streaming platform on April 13 from 12 pm onwards. You can watch Kingston with the help of your OTTplay Premium subscription at discounted prices.

GV Prakash starred in and produced the 2025 sea fantasy horror adventure film titled Kingston. The film is released in March and is helmed by debutant Kamal Prakash. It marks GV Prakash’s 25th film as lead actor.

ZEE5 has announced the streaming date and time. Kingston will premiere on April 13 from 12 pm onwards. ZEE5 is one of the offerings of OTTplay Premium, and you can watch the film with your subscription.

Apart from GV Prakash, the film stars Divya Bharathi as the female lead, marking her second collaboration with the star after Bachelor, which is available for streaming on SonyLIV. The ensemble star cast includes Antony, Chethan, Kumaravel, and Sabu Mohan alongside many others in pivotal roles.

Set against the backdrop of the fishing village of Thoovathur which is banned from fishing, Kingston revolves around the titular character who dares to venture into the sea, which is said to be cursed. Rumour has it that those who venture out into the waters are never to return. A right hand to Thomas, the kingpin of the smuggling trade of the region, Kingston gets to know that he is used to smuggling drugs instead of sea cucumbers, and decides to venture out into the haunted sea himself.

Gokul Benoy is the cinematographer of the film, with GV Prakash Kumar scored the music. Dhivek has penned the dialogues for this film. While San Lokesh has handled the edits, S.S. Moorthy is the art director. Zee Studios and Parallel Universe banners backed Kingston.
