Kingston, the recently released Tamil film starring actor and composer GV Prakash in the lead role, is now available for streaming on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium. Directed by debutant director Kamal Prakash, the film is a horror fantasy film set against the backdrop of a cursed sea. Kingston also marks GV Prakash’s 25th film as lead actor, who has previously appeared in films like Sivappu Manjal Pachai and Selfie.

Kingston is a 2025 Tamil horror fantasy adventure film which features GV Prakash Kumar in the lead role. The film stars Divya Bharathi as the female lead, in her second collaboration with GV Prakash after their romantic courtroom drama Bachelor.
After its theatrical run, Kingston has now made its OTT debut on ZEE5. It is a sea adventure horror film, directed by Kamal Prakash in his directorial debut. Besides starring in and scoring for the film, GV Prakash has also produced Kingston on a grand budget. The cast of Kingston also comprises of Chetan, Azhagam Perumaal, Elango Kumaravel, Sabumon Abdusamad, Antony, Arunachaleswaran, Rajesh Balachandiran in pivotal roles.
The film is about a fishing village called Thoovathur which is banned from fishing, despite a hamlet living nearby depending on the profession. GV Prakash plays the titular role Kingston who takes up to venture into the sea, after getting to know that he is used to smuggling drugs instead of sea cucumbers, by the area’s smuggling kingpin. The rest of the film is about how Kingston and if he returns safe from the haunted waters.
Kingston has music by GV Prakash, who also produced the film. Gokul Benoy is the cinematographer of the film, and San Lokesh has edited the feature.
