Kiran Abbavaram's Rules Ranjan goes on floors in Hyderabad

Kiran Abbavaram, whose upcoming romantic entertainer Sammathame is gearing up for a release on June 2, has embarked on another project. Titled Rules Ranjan, the new project was formally launched with a pooja ceremony held in Hyderabad on Friday. Top producer AM Rathnam, who’s also associated with Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu, is the presenter of the film.

Rules Ranjan is a joint production between Star Light Entertainments and Sai Surya Movies. In addition to Kiran Abbavaram, the film also stars Vennela Kishore, Himani, Vaishali, Jayavani, Mumtaz, Satya, Annu Kapoor, Siddharth Sen, Atul Parchure, Ashish Vidhyarthi, Ajay among others. Ratnam Krishna, who has written the story, is also directing the film.

The film’s launch event was organised in the presence of several top dignitaries including Hari Hara Veera Mallu director Krish, who clapped for the muhurat shot featuring Kiran Abbavaram while producer AM Ratnam honorarily gave the script to the director on the occasion. The regular shooting too commenced on Friday.

Other supporting actors in the film include Goparaju Ramana, Gemini Suresh, Tulasi, Abhimanyu Singh and Manohar Singh. To be cinematographed by Duleep Kumar, Rules Ranjan will be edited by Varaprasad. Amresh Ganesh is on board as the music director and M Sudheer is the art director. Kasarla Shyam is the sole lyricist.
