However, despite stiff competition from Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 minted Rs 2.50 crore (early estimates) on its first Saturday.
After a dull opening on Friday with Rs 1.85 crore, Kapil Sharma’s comedy film showed a major improvement as it nearly doubled its earnings. The total net collection for two days now stands at Rs 4.35 crore.
Comparing these opening numbers with the Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon film, there is a vast difference of more than Rs 10 crore. As per the analysis by industry tracker Sacnilk, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 covered an overall Hindi occupancy of 26.63% on December 13. It had an occupancy of 8.05% for morning shows, while the afternoon shows had a spike with 25.00%. The night shows observed the highest occupancy of the day with 41.80%.
