Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2: Kapil Sharma's bewildered groom act returns in first look

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 is a sequel to the 2015 comedic smash, and its makers finally gave fans their first glimpse at it on March 31, 2025. The revelation added to the joyous jubilation since it occurred on the same day as the festival of Eid. This film stars Kapil Sharma and Manjot Singh and was produced by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, and Abbas-Mustan under the banner of Venus Worldwide Entertainment and Abbas Mustan Film Production. Anukalp Goswami directed it. 

Kapil Sharma's eye-catching look

Released as an Eid special, the first-look poster has Kapil Sharma decked out in a flowery sehra, pearl chains, and an ivory sherwani. The characteristic comedy of mishaps that the picture offers is hinted at by his wide-eyed, confused countenance. An enigmatic bride, her features hidden beneath a richly bejewelled veil, stands by his side, her identity a mystery.

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon (2015) was Kapil Sharma's first film in Bollywood, and he's back for more in the sequel. Kapil, whose comedic timing and charisma made him an instant star, scored big with his debut, which took the box office by storm. In the original film, Kapil's character dealt with the chaos that resulted from his numerous marriages, making it a comedy goldmine. 

The comedic chemistry is amplified with the addition of Manjot Singh to the cast. His appearance could hint at the introduction of new characters and dynamic comedy elements.

Anukalp Goswami's directorial debut

A veteran of television sitcoms who is making his directorial debut in Bollywood, Anukalp Goswami, is in charge of the sequel. With the support of the famous filmmaking combo Abbas-Mustan, the film is anticipated to provide an ideal blend of situational humour and slapstick humour. Abbas-Mustan are known for their work in thrillers, so their involvement in the comedic escapade could lead to surprising plot twists.

The plot is still a mystery, but judging by this first glimpse, the sequel is going to ramp up the mayhem and confusion. Fans can anticipate another hilarious journey thanks to the addition of new characters and the trademark comedy of the existing cast.
