Kishkindhapuri

Anupama Parameswaran has two releases this week with her Malayalam film The Pet Detective hitting theatres, while her Telugu movie Kishkindhapuri would be out on OTT. In Kishkindhapuri, the Malayalam actress plays Mythili who is part of a ghost walking tour but their one such outing awakens an eerie spirit. Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas plays the lead in the horror thriller film, which promises to be a decent watch. Lokah actor Sandy Master too appears in a negative role.

Anandalahari 

Release Date: October 17, 2025

Anandalahari revolves around a young couple who are coerced into getting married even though they are poles apart. The Telugu web series, a romantic drama about the new-age couple, is set in the Godavari region. Newcomers play the lead roles in the series, which promises to be fun even while offering a refreshing take on love.

Mirage

Platform: SonyLiv and OTTplay Premium

Aswin and Abhirami come together to find the mystery surrounding her fiance Kiran, who disappears but leaves many questions in his wake. Asif Ali stars in this film along with Aparna Balamurali. Mirage was not a winner at the box office, but a thriller from Dirshyam director Jeethu Joseph is always welcomed in the digital space. Hakkim Shajahan, Hannah Reji Koshy, Deepak Parambol and Sampath are also part of the film.

Aabhyanthara Kuttavaali

Sahadevan’s excitement for marriage is short-lived when his wife Nayana scant interest in him or their relationship. Things take a more concerning turn when Nayana raises serious allegations against him, and Sahadevan finds himself in family court. Asif Ali leads this film, which seeks to offer an alternative perspective on laws that the makers claim are rendering men as victims.

This 2023 Malayalam film is finally headed to the OTT space. Deepak Parambol plays cartoonist Nidhin who strikes up a bond with the owner of Shabdham publishing house. Lalu Alex appears as the owner along with Darshana and Meera Vasudevan. This lesser-known film is written and helmed by Sreejith Chandran.

Elumale

Harish works as a cab driver in Mysuru, but the love of his life lives in the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu. As he attempts to reunite with Revathi, they unwittingly come across a crime scene that derails their whole plan and puts their lives in risk. Raanna and Priyanka Achar play the lead roles of the young couple in this Kannada film, helmed by Punit Rangaswamy.

Andondittu Kaala

To fulfil his dream of becoming a filmmaker, Kumara moves to the city. The film depicts his journey as he strives to make a mark in the world of cinema. Vinay Rajkumar plays Kumara, which also features Aditi Prabhudeva, Nisha Ravikrishnan, and V. Ravichandran in other key roles. The Kannada film hardly garnered any attention during its theatrical release in August.
