Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan continues to score at the Box Office. The movie has earned nearly Rs. 25 crores on its third day, Sunday. This has taken the total net collections of the movie over Rs. 50 crores.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan stays strong over the weekend, according to a report on Box Office India. The film has earned Rs. 24.50-25 crores on Sunday itself.
The total net collections of the film are now Rs. 62 crores and this is just the earlier numbers coming in from the number of footfalls. Despite getting mixed reviews, Salman’s movie has managed to cross Rs. 50 crores over the weekend.
The film earned most from UP, MP and Bihar belts. They performed better than even the day of Eid – Saturday. While usually, the Punjab and Delhi-NCR belt see a drop on Sunday, this was not the case with Salman’s film. This works for the actor and the makers.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan had the advantage of Eid release. It is also Salman Khan’s first film in four years to release only in theatres on Eid. This gives the actor a huge advantage and kickstart to the business of his film.
Thanks to the occasion of Eid, many were given an extended weekend. This most definitely contributed to the collections of the film so far. However, the real test for Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan begins on Monday. The movie’s true performance will be revealed over the weekdays.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is also performing well overseas. The total gross collections of the film are Rs. 110-115 crores. This works well for the movie. Interestingly, the film doesn’t have any competition till June and that is two months away. Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan releases on June 2 and that is the only real competition Salman’s film will face, if it sustains at the Box Office for that long.
