Salman Khan was told he ‘lost the plot’ when the actor tried to accommodate the song Naiyo Lagda in his fiom, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The actor was rejected by his own team, except the director and actress. Salman spoke about the same at the trailer launch of his film.

“Everyone was against me for Naiyo Lagda. They told me I’ve lost the plot and it’s an 80s-90s song so how will it do well? They thought people will compare it but I said that it’s my film and I will sing for it. Even if the song doesn’t work, you cannot interfere with my next film. So, chill. Till the time the director, hero and heroine like my song, I will use it,” the actor shared.

Palak Muchhal spoke about her song at the event and shared, “It’s always special to be a part of Salman Khan’s film. He’s one of the biggest blessings of my life. He didn’t help me only with my career but also helped with many surgeries in heart patients who are a part of my cause. It’s always special. Every time I have a song with sir, I receive a lot of love. Everybody liked Naiyo Lagda too.”

Salman in turn praised her and said, “She had already sung the song 10 years back. She does a lot of good work, even in charity. She’s very busy after getting married (to Mithoon). We actually offered her a role in the film. She turned it down because her bade papa refused. Mummy and papa convinced bade papa later.”

Naiyo Lagda was the first song to be unveiled from Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The song is a romantic track between Salman and Pooja Hegde.

The film is helmed by Farhad Samji and reportedly ghost directed by Salman himself. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan also stars Venkatesh Daggubati, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Shehnaaz Gill and Palak Tiwari in pivotal roles. Shehnaaz also marks her Bollywood debut with the movie.
