O Balle Balle. What do you think when you hear of the name? Does your mind also automatically go to the Bride and Prejudice song? Well, the latest Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan song, also O Balle Balle, isn’t anywhere close.
The Bride and Prejudice song was a classic. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan song, on the other hand, is just loud.
The song has a plus point – that it is very colourful. Of course, Salman has a hookstep even in this track.
Set in the middle of a fair, the song is just about someone who is not a Punjabi but loves some of their actions and are probably obsessed by it. The thing is, Salman’s actions in the song do not match what an actual Punjabi would do. Even if he does not play a Punjabi character in the movie, it still appears to mock the culture in the name of creating a fun and entertaining song. That does not appear too cool. Salman creating a long moustache with the help of a handkerchief and turning it into a hookstep is just among one of the things that don’t work as expected. His super funky dressing and pelvic steps soon after just work against everything.

The song takes the original O Balle Balle and changes everything else. That definitely doesn’t help the song. To add to that, O Balle Balle actually comes in the song 1.25 minutes later. That is exactly the half time of 3.05.
The song features Satish Kaushik in one of his last on-screen appearances. This is apart from Salman, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Palak Tiwari and Shehnaaz Gill.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan releases in theatres on Eid. The film is the first for Salman in four years to release only in theatres during Eid.
