Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan's Shehnaaz Gill reveals that Salman Khan named her 'Sukoon'

Shehnaaz Gill is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan's Eid 2023 release, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. In a recent chat, the actor let us in on her character in the film.

In a freewheeling chat, Shehnaaz also got candid about how she has transformed from a little girl who used to dance in front of the mirror to Salman Khan's songs to starring alongside him in a film.

Shehnaaz told OTTplay, "It was my mother's dream that I work with Salman Khan in a film, which I have finally made a reality. Salman sir is widely loved in Punjab. When I was a child, I used to dance to Oh Oh Jane Jaana, and now I get to share screen space with him; it's surreal! I am such a huge fan of Salman sir that I would have happily visited his film set just to get a glimpse of him. Watching him act and how he did action on a film set, all while keeping the mood light, happy, and lively, was amazing. Working on this film was like a picnic."

When asked about her character in the film, she revealed, "I play a girlfriend of one of Salman sir's characters brothers. It is my character and her boyfriend who plan to set Salman sir's character up with Pooja Hegde's character. It is interesting to note that Salman sir came up with the name Sukoon for my character. I love this name."

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, directed by Farhad Samji, also stars Salman Khan, Venkatesh, Jassie Gill, Raghav Juyal, and Siddharth Nigam. It is all set to release in theatres on April 21.
