Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul finally tied the knot! After months of waiting the actor and Indian cricketer finally took 'pheraas' in a simple yet elegant wedding ceremony at Suniel Shetty's Khandala residence.

The bride herself shared the gorgeous pictures on her social media handle posing with her new husband with a heartfelt caption that reads, " “In your light, I learn how to love…” Today, with our most loved ones, we got married in the home that’s given us immense joy and serenity. Earlier today, father Suniel Shetty made an appearance outside his lavish house with his son Ahan Shetty and thanked the media for their arrival. talking to the paparazzi, the Dhadkan actor shared that the 'pheraas' are done and he has officially become a father-in-law. Meanwhile, the bride's father also unveiled to the press that the official wedding reception is to be held after IPL 2023, however, the exact date has not been announced yet.

KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty went publically with their relationship during IPL 2020. Since then, the actor-cricketer couple has been quite outspoken and outgoing with their relationship in public. The diva has been seen posting multiple pictures with her then-boyfriend now husband. Reportedly, both celebrities met via their friends and quickly developed romantic feelings for each other in a few meetings.
