Koel Mallick’s Bhai Phota celebration helps a family find a missing member

On Wednesday, OTTplay reported that Koel Mallick spent her Bhai Phota with a group of specially-abled people at an NGO on Tuesday. She posted the pictures on social media. She has long known the founders of that organization. It is because of her social media post of her visit, that a family reunited with a missing member.

Koel went to give a phota to the specially-abled members of Iswar. Many people stay here who lost their memories and can not remember their home addresses. But what happened today was completely unexpected. Through the videos shared by Koel, Sujay – one of the people who live at that home – found his lost family. Koel was also stunned by this incident. 

Koel told Anandabazar Online, “I believe in magic and everything depends on fate. Nothing is possible if God doesn't want that. I think even if I did not go there or share the video, Sujay's family would somehow find him. I have nothing to say. I feel wonderful. It is a great feeling.” 

One of Koel’s fans organized the event. Koel was also happy to take part in it. She wrote on social media, “Couldn’t have had a better gift than this on the auspicious occasion of Bhai Phota!’ 

Koel's film Jongole Mitin Mashi was released in Durga Puja. Right now, she is busy spending time with her son Kabir.
