Koffee With Karan 7: Did KJo CONFIRM that Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra were friends with benefits?

Karan Johar has almost confirmed that Shahid Kapoor was friends with benefits with Priyanka Chopra Jonas. He did so on the latest episode of Koffee With Karan 7. Karan introduced Shahid with an introduction that surely raised eyebrows.

He introduced Shahid as the Koffee With Karan veteran who has come on the show with family, friends and friends with benefits. He then specifically named Mira, Ishaan and Priyanka once Shahid entered the show.

Although his family has come on the show more recently, Shahid has also appeared on the show with his then-girlfriend, Kareena Kapoor Khan. The actor is a Koffee With Karan veteran who appeared with Esha Deol in season 1, Kareena in season 2, Priyanka Chopra in season 3 and Sonakshi Sinha in season 4. He was reported to be dating Priyanka and Sonakshi at one given point. Of course, neither of the actors accepted that they were dating.

Shahid was famously spotted in shorts when the IT raided Priyanka’s home. He had opened the door and that made headlines for the longest time. Both Shahid and Priyanka had denied they were dating and kept stating that they were neighbours.

Some years later, just before he got married, Shahid’s name was being linked to his R… Rajkumar co-star Sonakshi Sinha. None of them accepted or denied seeing each other.

By season 5, Shahid got married to Mira Rajput and she made her debut on the show, a memorable one. The next time he appeared – in season 6 – was to promote his brother Ishaan Khatter’s film Dhadak.

This time, Shahid appeared with another debutante on the show – Kiara Advani. He and Kiara made headlines for working on Kabir Singh – the Hindi adaptation of Telugu film Arjun Reddy. Kabir Singh received praise and criticism in equal amounts but that helped the movie become one of the highest grossing films of its year.
