In its concluding episode of Hotstar Specials Koffee With Karan Season 7, the show flips the script after a riveting season of heated discussions about love, family, and marriage. The show's legendary presenter, Karan Johar, invites social media icons Tanmay Bhat and Danish Sait, as well as well-known content creators Kusha Kapila and Niharika NM, to the sofa. Four special guests from the influencer world then take over the conversation. While dishing out a hilarious episode of the comedy, joy, and explosive behind-the-scenes secrets of the season, the four join together to judge the Koffee With Karan Awards.

Karan Johar finally discusses the peer pressure of missing a wedding after constantly stating that he detests being excluded from them. It became quite awkward for the filmmaker when Vicky and Katrina were getting married. People started saying things like he didn't tell them about the couples, he was at the wedding and still hasn't told them. Having to admit that he had not been invited became quite awkward. Following the wedding, sympathy and scepticism then surfaced. People started asking KJo why he wasn't there and if everything was alright between them.

Finding out about individuals who did not make the list can provide comfort for those left off as guest lists for Bollywood weddings get shorter and shorter. The director admitted that he did find a little comfort when he got to hear that Anurag Kashyap had also not been invited to Katrina and Vicky's wedding.

The final episode of Koffee With Karan Season 7 will be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar on September 29, 2022.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Karan is back in the director's chair with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The romantic comedy features Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi will be seen in supporting roles.
