Koffee With Karan 7: Why has Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan not appeared on Karan Johar’s talk show in the past 18 years?

In the twelfth episode of Koffee With Karan Season 7, a new trio sits down and starts the conversation with Gauri Khan, Bhavana Pandey, and Maheep Kapoor. In contrast, Gauri, who appeared on Koffee With Karan during the first season of the talk show, has explained why she hasn't returned to the show since. The ace interior designer recently explained to Bollywood Hungama in an interview why she did not appear on the chat show.

She said, "I think he has never asked me. In 18 years, he has asked me once. Maybe he didn't ask me. I don't even remember. It's been so many years. He is a friend, and it was even more fun because I was coming with Maheep and Bhavana, and I knew that it was going to be a lot of gup shup (gossip), chat, and fun."

Additionally, she admitted that she intended to dress up and appear on the show. When talking to Karan Johar, she chuckled that one had to look flawless, despite the fact that she adored dressing up, hanging out, and catching up with friends. Gauri claimed there would be plenty of spicy gossip for fans while questioning whether there would be any. She added, "Well for juicy gossip, yes, loads." She urged audiences to watch the show to discover more, instead of revealing any details."

For those who are unaware, Gauri appeared on the show in season one alongside Sussanne Khan and their respective partners, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan.

A preview of the forthcoming episode of Koffee With Karan 7 was released on Monday. The new episode will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar at midnight on Thursday. The chat show has also sparked controversy since the beginning of the current season. Many more stars have appeared on the couch, including Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar and Samantha, Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda.
