Both the actors, who have lately made headlines for their love lives, are ready to talk about life and everything on the famous Koffee couch. Arjun also chose to talk about suffering box office failures. He added that he has also seen peaks of success by being the first star of his generation to have a Rs 100 crore film with 2 States.

As per Pinkvilla, Karan Johar spoke about the perception that actors have to create on Instagram. He moved the conversation to Arjun Kapoor and asked him what he felt about the failures, as he is known for having a sense of humour and a positive take on things. Arjun Kapoor said, “There is so much adversity I have faced in my life, ya Karan. I think I have spoken on this couch before about many aspects of my life. I am the first actor in my generation to deliver a 100-crore film with Dharma and Sajid Nadiadwala, and that was 2 States.”
He further said, “I have seen the high; I have done a film like Ki and Ka that did well, in which I was a house husband. I have done all kinds of work. I have worked with so many people. I mean, Akshay Kumar has spoken so openly about the fact that he almost considered leaving the profession at one point after 11-12 flops. When you look at Saif’s career, till Dil Chahta Hai didn't happen, he was on a different trajectory.”
Arjun Kapoor concluded by saying, “If my audience has loved me and connected with me because of the work that I did, they are not going to disconnect if I give them a good film. You can't control the box office. What I can control is the effort and the sincerity”.
