Koffee with Karan 8 - Janhvi Kapoor REVEALS one trait that binds Khushi Kapoor with mom Sridevi

Koffee with Karan is brewing Koffee in its eighth season and is loved by fans as they get to sneak into their favourite celeb’s lives, whether personal or professional. After a stirring, fun episode blended with emotional factors in the last episode, which featured cinema legend Sharmila Tagore and Saif Ali Khan, the latest episode features another duo but this time it is the Kapoor sisters gracing the KWK couch.

The glamorous sisters dolled up in yellow and red dresses and spilled secrets about their boyfriends, career moves, and how they dealt with the burden of great loss as their iconic actress-mother passed away tragically. During a conversation, Janhvi Kapoor highlighted one of the common personality traits between her late mother Sridevi, and sister Khushi Kapoor. Both are quieter on the outside but on screen, they explode. "Ekdum phatt jati ha screen pr..," the Dhadak actress said.

Khushi Kapoor's debut and special trait

The eleventh episode also marked her little sister Khushi Kapoor’s debut on the chat show. During a candid conversation about Khushi’s promising debut with the star-studded Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, the filmmaker host asked about the performance, and like any other elder sibling, the Dhadak actress was the biggest leader for her “Khushshu.” She lauded the budding actress for her phenomenal performance and how for nine months, she worked hard each day to achieve the character’s depth. This was the moment when Janhvi Kapoor remembered her late mother and drew a stark similarity between the mother-daughter duo.

"She is a very quiet person and I think that is one thing she has in common with Mumma. But in front of the camera, she just explodes," she revealed excitedly. Karan Johar also praised the late acting stalwart and said, "Your mom was called the switch-on and switch-off actor. The way she burst..." He reminisced about a film shoot of Gumraah when even the lightman shivered and had chills as he dropped the light after witnessing one of the most intriguing performances where the late Sridevi screamed.

"I really do think she (Khushi) is magical," the Bawaal actress added while lovingly looking at her co-partner for the night

Khushi Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor are the daughters of Boney Kapoor and the late Sridevi. While it’s been years since Janhvi made her debut in 2018, the same year her mother passed away. The youngest daughter, Khushi Kapoor, made her debut with Zoya Akhtar’s musical adaptation, The Archies, alongside Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Dot, Vedang Raina, and others.
