Koffee With Karan 8: Karan Johar 'can't believe his chat show has been running for 19 years and still counting'

Filmmaker-producer Karan Johar turned host for his chat show Koffee With Karan in 2004. The first episode of the show aired on November 19, 2004. The success of the first season led to multiple editions of KJo's show. Now, as Karan gears up for KWK 8, he got nostalgic and couldn't fathom the fact that his chat show has been running for 19 years now.

The filmmaker shared his dapper look for Koffee With Karan 8's first episode. He took to Instagram and posted a series of photos from the KWK 8 photoshoot. While sharing the post, he captioned it, "The first episode of koffeewithkaran season 8 with deepikapadukone and ranveersingh drops on disneyplushotstar on the 26th of October!!! Don’t miss it! A show I can’t believe has been running for 19 years and still counting…..(sic)."

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will be gracing the Koffee couch in the first episode. The promo of their episode is already out on social media. In the video, Karan revealed the couple got secretly engaged before they tied the knot in 2018.

Singh revealed he proposed to Deepika in 2015 and the rest is history! They have been enjoying their marital bliss for nearly five years now.

Tentative guestlist of KWK 8

This season, Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Khushi Kapoor will make their Koffee With Karan debut. On the other hand, Kartik Aaryan is likely to bury the hatchet with KJo on his chat show.

Sara Ali Khan might make an appearance on the show with Ananya Panday. For that matter, Deol brothers, Sunny and Bobby, might be seen on KWK 8 as well.

When and where to watch Koffee With Karan 8?

Koffee With Karan 8 will premiere on Disney+ Hotsrar on October 26, 2023. The first episode will drop on October 26 at 12 am.
