Koffee with Karan 8 – Vicky Kaushal REVEALS his impromptu, “Last Minute” wedding proposal to Katrina Kaif

Another episode of Koffee with Karan has rolled out and this time it’s The Beauty and the Bahadur – Kiara Advani and Vicky Kaushal graced the seventh episode of the popular celebrity chat show. The duo who previously worked together in Netflix’s anthology series, Lust Stories shared their special marriage proposals, personal lives, and some lively moments during the show.   

Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal shared his wedding sweet proposal story for the first time when filmmaker host Karan Johar requested the details.

The Sam Bahadur actor married Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif in an intimate ceremony attended only by close family and friends in a luxury resort in Rajasthan. The celebrity couple succeeded in keeping their relationship under wraps until their grand wedding day on December 9, 2021.

It’s nearly two years now and the actor in a candid conversation revealed details about the not-so-fancy yet adorable proposal.  

Reminiscing about the gesture, Kaushal revealed, “It was dramatic but not much... It was not so well planned and the works. It was very last minute. I had been warned by everybody that if you don't propose, it's something you'll have to be prepared for, for the rest of your life that you got to hear about it. I did that one day before the wedding.” The host was surprised to know that the proposal happened just one day before the grand evening. While his couch partner, Kiara Advani was awed by his gesture and quipped, “At least you did it!”  

Kaushal further revealed that it was a beautiful dinner with set-up and everything. “It was dinner just before any of the friends and families could come. They were all coming the next day so it was just us," the Zara Hatke Zara Bachke actor added.
