Koffee With Karan Season 8: After appearing with Sara Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan graces the Karan Johar-hosted show with Sharmila Tagore

Several guests have been announced who will be a part of Koffee With Karan Season 8. Now, as per the latest reports, it seems like Saif Ali Khan will be making his appearance this season after a miss from the last season. After appearing on the Karan Johar-hosted talk show with daughter Sara Ali Khan in the sixth season, he will return this time with a family member once again.

Saif Ali Khan to share the couch with mother Sharmila Tagore

As per reports in Filmfare, Saif will be marking his presence on Koffee with Karan with his mother and veteran actor Sharmila Tagore. Earlier, the Chef actor was seen with his sister Soha Ali Khan, wife Kareena Kapoor Khan, and daughter Sara on the show. Moreover, he has also appeared with Preity Zinta and Kangana Ranaut on Koffee With Karan. It will be interesting to see the mother-son duo get together for the first time on a talk show.

Meanwhile, Sharmila was seen on the screen after a very long time with Gulmohar, which was released earlier this year on Disney+ Hotstar.

Challenges of family gatherings

Earlier, while talking about Saif, Sharmila said in an interview that a custom she hopes to uphold is continuing the legacy of the Pataudi family, and it makes her pleased to see that her son is following in his father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi's footsteps.

Meanwhile, she had also spoken about being with the family amid a busy schedule by saying that it's hard to get everyone in the same room, let alone at the same lunch table. It's conceivable, though someone might be on the phone or getting ready for anything. The veteran actor still makes them promise not to use their phones during their visits. Due to the solemn nature of the hour, all calls must be made from outside, and one needs a set of guidelines and a place to convene.

Talking about Koffee With Karan, reports haven't confirmed whether Sharmila and Saif shot for the episode or not.
