Korean actress Park Min Young's unrecognizable look for 'Marry My Husband' drama stuns fans

The forthcoming tvN series, "Marry My Husband", has unveiled drama stills showcasing actress Park Min Young. Derived from a web novel written by Sung So Jak, the narrative follows the revenge-fueled journey of Kang Ji Won, brought to life by Park Min Young.

Ji Won, facing a terminal illness, witnesses the betrayal of her best friend Jung Soo Min (Song Ha Yoon) and spouse Park Min Hwan (Lee Yi Kyung), leading to a tragic demise orchestrated by Park Min Hwan.

In a twist of fate, Kang Ji Won time-travels a decade into the past, resolved to exact vengeance, joined by Yoo Ji Hyeok (Na In Woo), the head of her department at work.

The recently unveiled images spotlight Park Min Young in her character donned in a patient gown and beanie. Her pallid complexion mirrors the hardships her character endured in her challenging life and the ongoing struggle against cancer. 

Enthusiastic fans have swiftly voiced their excitement and admiration for Park Min Young's dedicated portrayal of this demanding role, noting the actress's transformation into an entirely unrecognizable persona.

She reportedly shed weight down to 37kg to authentically portray Kang Jiwon, a 37-year-old cancer patient.
