Cashing in on actor Srikanth's popularity after the blockbuster success of Akhanda, one of his long-delayed films, Kotala Rayudu, a family entertainer, is gearing up to hit theatres on February 4. Dimple Chopade and Natasha Doshi play the female leads in the film written and directed by Sudheer Raju. Prudhvi, Murali Sharma, Satyam Rajesh, Posani Krishna Murali, Sudigali Sudheer and Sri Lakshmi essay crucial roles.
AS Kishore and Kolan Venkatesh have jointly produced the film under ASK Films. Venkataramana Movies is presenting the same. The makers assure that the family entertainer will have a good dose of humour and action as well. "Kotala Rayudu can be watched by the entire family. Srikanth's role will be relatable to one and all," the director Sudheer Raju added. The producers are quite confident that crowds would come forward to watch Kotala Rayudu irrespective of the release day.
At the time of the film's launch, Srikanth talking about the film, shared, "Kotala Rayudu is a complete entertainment package and has a lot of commercial appeal. I've known Sudheer Raju for a long time and we've begun the film only after having a full-bound script. The title (also Chiranjeevi's film in the past) is apt for the film. We, as a team, will give our best for it. It's upto the audiences to decide if we've done a good job."
Shayaji Shinde, Bithiri Sathi, Chandramohan, Sudha, Hema, Jayavani and Thagubothu Ramesh are also part of the film. Sunil Kasyap has scored the music for the film cinematographed by G Satish. Uddhav has handled duties as the editor while Vikram Raj has penned the dialogues. The technical crew also comprises Sai Mani (as art director), Real Satish (as stunt choreographer). Kandikonda is the lyricist for the entire album.
