The first look of Shashank and Darling Krishna's maiden collaboration Kousalya Supraja Rama has evoked a lot of excitement among Kannada moviegoers. What's been pitched as a 'Tale of Real Man', the film promises to be an engaging blend of romance and drama with the crux of the story, as Shashank puts it, revolving around the mother-son relationship. Sudha Belawadi, who plays Kousalya in the film, is part of the principal cast along with Brinda Acharya, who is the female lead. Nagabhushana, too, plays a key role in Kousalya Supraja Rama.
Arjun Janya's soundtrack, too, is likely to be one of the main highlights of the film. Not very long ago, the makers released the first single from the album (titled Shivani) to a positive response - sung by Nishan Rai with Shashank himself penning the lyrics, the makers describe the single as the 'Love Anthem' of the film.
The second single of the music album, which the makers released recently on May 19, too, is a love ballad which boasts the mellifluous vocals of Sonu Nigam. The crowd-favourite singer, who has lent his inimitable voice to countless Kannada chartbusters, is at his trademark best in the new song (titled 'Preethisuve') with Arjun Janya churning out a peppy tune to match the soothing lyrics of Jayanth Kaikini. Female vocalist Prithwi Bhat accentuates the song with her lovely voice.
The visuals of Preethusive reveal the ruminating journey of protagonist Rama (played by Krishna) in the picturesque locales of Kashmir. Amidst snow-capped mountains that are skirted by the pristine waters of the region, Krishna can be seen traversing the region in a jeep. Sugnan serves as the film's director of photography with Giri Mahesh handling editing.
