Koushani Mukherjee focuses on the Bangladesh film industry

Koushani Mukherjee is now concentrating on films in Bangladesh. She went to Bangladesh on Wednesday for the film, Dark World. She will play a cop. Munna Khan plays the main protagonist. But the heroine is waiting for Shakib Khan.

While talking to the Bangladeshi media, Koushani expressed her wish to work with Shakib Khan. She said, “The credit for introducing Bangladeshi films in Kolkata goes to Shakib Khan. I am waiting to work with a superstar like Shakib Khan. Talks happened with some big houses also. Let us see.”

The shooting for Koushani's film started on Thursday. Actress Mahia Mahi was the first choice to play the role. The shooting started last year in December. But she withdrew herself after shooting for a day. She expressed her disinterest in working against Munna, though she was supposed to come back to work after giving birth to her baby with this film. Then Parimani was offered this role. She also turned it down. This is Koushani's second film in Bangladesh. She previously worked in the film Priya Re. However, the film has not yet been released.
