It is BTS reunion day and interestingly, the newly released Netflix film KPop Demon Hunters is gaining popularity among fans. Suga (Min Yoongi) from the K-Pop boy band is back, and thus, it marks a big day for BTS and their fans aka ARMY. Director Maggie Kang revealed that immensely popular K-Pop groups like BTS, TxT, ATEEZ, BIGBANG, and Monsta X served inspiration for the film's characters. Fans were quick to notice the moments and reacted to the same. The character of Jinu, in particular, was inspired by K-Drama actors, the director confessed. Cha Eun-woo and Nam Joo-hyuk played massive inspiration behind the character. ITZY, BLACKPINK, and TWICE served inspiration for the female characters.
The movie is out on BTS' reunion day. Suga from the K-Pop group is officially discharged from the military and left a message for his fans confirming the same. It is bound to be a big day for the group and fans itself, since they are hoping to see him go live on video after 2 years of complete silence (except his recent appearance at J-Hope’s concert after reunion during BTS Jin’s military discharge). The songs producer-rapper, Suga, was discharged from the military on Friday night after completing his office hours, which is the day when KPop Demon Hunters released on OTT.
Business Proposal actor Ahn Hyo-Seop is the voice for Jinu, while Arden Cho voices Rumi, May Hong voices Mira, Ji-Young Yoo is the voice for Zoey and Ken Jeong voices Bobby. Byung-Hun Lee, Yunjin Kim, Daniel Dae Kim, Joel Kim Booster and Liza Koshy are also involved in the project.
