Kranthi OTT release date: When and where to watch Rakendu Mouli, Inaya Sultana’s thriller

Telugu, Tamil OTT platform aha has become the go-to streamer for most low-budget/medium scale films made in multiple industries in the recent past. While the platform released films like Gaalodu, Lucky Lakshman and Missing on OTT in the last few days, they’ve acquired the rights of another thriller titled Kranthi.

Popular writer, lyricist Rakendu Mouli plays the lead role in the film that stars Inaya Sultana as the female lead. Sravani Setti, Yamuna Srinidhi, Kartik and Bhavani Chowdary form the supporting cast of the film directed by Bhima Shankar. Bhargav Manne has bankrolled the film under Swathi Pictures. aha is premiering the show on their platform on March 3. The trailer of the film, offering a gist of its story and the vibe of its world, was unveiled earlier this week.

The story takes off when Ram is selected for SI training and is awaiting his posting. Ram is in love with a girl Sandhya for many years and they decide to get married while earning a nod from their parents. Much to their disappointment, Sandhya is killed by a mysterious man, leaving Ram depressed. Nearly a year later, Ramya, a cousin of Ram goes missing.

Is Ramya alive or has she been kidnapped? Ram begins his hunt for Ramya and discovers many shocking truths about her and Sandhya as well, in the process. Every girl goes missing every year in the same month. How far will Ram go to find Ramya and will he succeed in his pursuit? Will the culprits be punished? Watch the film to know more.

For the uninitiated, Rakendu Mouli, who wrote dialogues for aha’s direct-to-OTT release Senapathi, is the son of late lyricist Vennelakanti. Rakendu’s brother Shashank Vennelakanti is a popular writer as well.
