Team Kranti's road to glory has reached its penultimate checkpoint as the advance bookings open up on an emphatic note. All the Challenging Star Darshan fans have been waiting with bated breath to book their respective slots to witness the DBoss in all his glory on January 26th and just as expected, tickets are now being sold at a rapid pace. Darshan and a few other members of the Kranti team took to social media a short while ago to announce that the advance bookings would open on January 22nd, exactly four days ahead of the film's theatrical release.

Although fans were hoping that the shows on the opening day would start as early as midnight but, according to ticketing platforms, the earliest show is currently slotted at 5:45 a.m. on January 26th.

Kranti is expected to release in 350-400 screens, at the least, across Karnataka with the makers leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that the film reaches every corner of the state. The film has been billed all along as a pan-India release with four other languages (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam) as part of the slate but the team is yet to divulge the exact strategy as far as the dubbed versions are concerned. During the recent trailer launch event in Bengaluru, producer Shylaja Nag hinted at the possibility of a direct OTT release for the dubbed versions of Kranti but one awaits a formal announcement on this.

Kranti can expect stiff competition from the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan which releases a day prior, on January 25th. Regardless, one can expect Darshan's film to trump the Hindi film (which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham) in the heartland of Karnataka with all the non-urban centres, in particular, touted to be the main contributors.

In her recent chat with OTTplay, Shylaja Nag asserted that the Darshan starrer will definitely boast an upper hand in Karnataka, should the Kranti vs Pathaan battle take a more interesting shape. The film marks the Challenging Star's 55th outing as an actor and the pre-release publicity has been an incredibly eventful stint so far.
