Although the Challenging Star Darshan-starrer Kranti is still days away from releasing in theatres, the countdown for the same began well ahead of time. Both the film and its leading man have been making the headlines for the past couple of weeks, with reasons ranging from controversial to celebratory. Regardless, the entire team, led by Darshan and his many million fans/celebrities, is leaving no stone unturned in turning the release of Kranti into a mega event.
And speaking of celebrations, fans will be treated to a special glimpse of the film ahead of the theatrical release. The makers took to social media a short while ago to announce that the first trailer of Kranti will be out this coming Saturday, January 7. Considering that each song from the film was released at massive public gatherings, the trailer launch too is most likely to be a huge crowd-puller with Darshan, Rachita Ram, and the core team leading from the front.
In his recent media interaction, Darshan stated that while the songs were launched in different parts of Karnataka, the trailer of Kranti will be released in Bengaluru amid tremendous fanfare.
The first song, Dharani Mandala, was launched in Mysuru while the second single from the film, Bombe Bombe, was released at a massive public event in Hosakote. At the Hosakote event, Darshan was attacked from the crowd by an alleged Puneeth Rajkumar fan with a slipper and the incident soon came under national scrutiny. Many members of the Kannada Film Industry came out voicing their support for Darshan and condemning the attack. The third single from Kranti was launched in Hubballi.
Kranti has been written and directed by V. Harikrishna who is also the film's music composer. Shylaja Nag and B. Suresha of Media House Studio have produced the film, making this their second collaboration with Harikrishna and Darshan after the 2019 film Yajamana. Darshan is slated to work with the same team for his 57th outing as an actor.
