Naga Shaurya has always been good with romantic dramas throughout his career - films like Oohalu Gusagusalade, Varudu Kaavalenu, Kalyana Vaibhogame and Chalo are enough proof to suggest he feels at home in this genre. He's back to give another shot at the genre with Krishna Vrinda Vihari, a rom-com where he's cast alongside actress Shirley Setia. Directed by Anish R Krishna, the film is produced by Naga Shaurya's mother Usha Mulpuri under his home banner Ira Creations. His father Shankar Prasad Mulpuri is the presenter.
Ahead of Krishna Vrinda Vihari's release on May 20, the team is going all out to promote the film among the masses through the songs. The rom-com has music by Mahati Swara Sagar. After the first single, Varshamlo Vennella, was launched by Samantha recently, the makers released the second song today. Titled Emundi Ra, the catchy number sung by Haricharan has lyrics by Harsha. The song tells viewers how Naga Shaurya, the male lead is head over heels in love with his on-screen romantic interest Shirley Setia.
Emundi Ra is a vibrant number, right with its composition and its impact is further enhanced by the spectacular visuals, all thanks to cinematographer Sai Sriram. Haricharan has never disappointed with melodies through his career and the enthusiasm he brings to the rendition is worthy of a hearing. The song that starts with the haldi ceremony progresses till the time the two protagonists have kids and are leading a happy life together. This is expected to be an imaginary song sequence in the film.
Mahati Swara Sagar had also composed for Naga Shaurya's hit film Chalo earlier. Radhika Sarathkumar, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Satya and Brahmaji form the supporting cast of Krishna Vrinda Vihari. The film is edited by Timmaraju with Ramkumar handling art direction. MNS Gowtham is the co-producer. This is the second project in the career of Shirley Setia after Maska, while she'll also be seen next in Abhimanyu Dassani's Nikamma later this year.
