Actress Krithi Shetty, who is all set to make her debut in the Tamil film industry with director Lingusamy's The Warrior, recently opened up about her experience working with Suriya, her co-star in Vanangaan. While speaking to on online portal, Krithi said that she had heard a lot of good things about Suriya and that she had seen his work and admired the same. The actress revealed that when she began working with him she realised that he was not only a dedicated artiste, but he surpassed her expectations on all fronts. Not only was he a fine gentleman, but a fine and dedicated actor, too.
Talking about her role in the film, the actress said that it was completely new and that she thoroughly enjoyed working with director Bala. The title, Vanangaan was released only yesterday on the occasion of Bala's birthday and until then, the film was referred to as #Suriya41. Suriya is said to playing a dual role in the film, and the portions were canned around Kanyakumari, where the team erected huge sets. The next schedule is all set to begin in Goa. Music for the film is by GV Prakash Kumar and Balasubramaniem has handled the cinematography.
In the meantime, Krithi is gearing up for The Warrior, in which she will be seen opposite Ram Pothineni. The film is simultaneously being shot in Tamil and Telugu and the star cast comprises Aadhi Pinisetty, Akshara Gowda and Nadhiya. Music for the film is by Devi Sri Prasad. The film also marks the Tamil debut of Ram after the film, Yen Endral Kadhal Enben!, the Tamil version of Endukante... Premanta! failed to release in theatres.Cinematography is by Sujith Vaassudev and editing is being handled by Naveen Nooli. The film is gearing up for release on July 14.
