Kriti Sanon gears up to play 'one-piece kind of character' in Anurag Kashyap's action drama

Kriti Sanon is thriving in Bollywood with her upcoming films in 2022. The actress was last seen in the Netflix original film Mimi. The actress is currently filming the bilingual project Adipurush that has Prabhas in the lead role with Saif Ali Khan portraying the antagonist character. The Varun Dhawan starrer Bhediya’s shooting is also going on and stars Kriti as the leading lady.

With some more kick-ass projects, the audience will get to see the actress performing action sequences in her upcoming project helmed by Anurag Kashyap too. In a recent interview, Kriti shared her excitement to be a part of this new venture with the ace filmmaker and said it has got some Anurag Kashyap elements to it. She also called the story of the forthcoming movie a whacky story.

Talking about her character, the Dilwale actress mentioned, “ I am very excited because it’s a one-piece kind of character. And there is a lot of action involved. I just started Ganapath and I have started enjoying the action. There is a lot of action in Anurag’s film also for which I'm excited about.”

Last month, Kashyap surprised the movie-buffs with a sudden announcement of his new project with a post on his official Instagram handle. The caption reads, “Yet another script .. another film .. @nikhildwivedi25 @kritisanon starting soon ..(Sic).”

Seems like Kriti has really got her shoes tight for some action. It would definitely be really exciting for the fans to see the Bollywood actress performing some live-action sequences in her upcoming films including the Tiger Shroff starrer 'Ganapath' and Kashyap’s untitled venture.

The Raabta actress is also gearing up for the release of some of her highly-anticipated films of 2022 including Akshay Kumar starrer Bachchan Pandey and Kartik Aryan’s action drama film Shehzada.
