Kriti Sanon garnered unanimous praise and attention from cinephiles for her role in Mimi. Meanwhile, the hit 2021 has also gathered multiple accolades for the Bollywood actor, one of which is the National Award of India. As the talented artiste attended the prestigious award ceremony to collect her award on Tuesday, October 17, she shared her thoughts on this huge recognition in the country. On the other hand, she is also sharing the Best Actor (Female) award with Alia Bhatt, who won it for Gangubai Kathiawadi.

The winners of the 69th National Film Awards were announced earlier this year in August, while the official ceremony was held on October 17. To collect their accolades, multiple celebrities across the country attended the event. At the venue, talking about her win, Kriti shared, "The journey has taken me about nine years today to be getting this prestigious award. But, yeah, to win the National Award within a decade is I understand a very very big thing."

"And I am really fortunate and blessed that I got an opportunity like Mimi. Sometimes a film of this intensity and layered chracter as layered as this doesn't come our way so easily," Kriti added and also thanked her director and producer from Mimi.
