Kriti Sanon to start work on Shahid Kapoor starrer as her film with Anurag Kashyap gets pushed

Kriti Sanon is definitely keeping herself busy these days. Even with a host of films in her kitty at the moment, the actress shows no signs of stopping as she dives headfirst into more projects. It was reported that Kriti will soon start prep for her upcoming film with Shahid Kapoor, as her film with Anurag Kashyap was pushed to next year.

According to a report in Mid Day, Kriti is scheduled to start workshops for the upcoming film as early as next month. The film will be bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan and the producer has reportedly lined up a schedule stretching on for four consecutive months. The film is expected to go on floors in October. The yet to be titled film is touted to be a love story, helmed by a debutant director. The makers have chosen Mumbai, Delhi, and Europe as filming locations for the same.

A source also told the portal that in the second half of the shoot schedule of the Dinesh Vijan production, Kriti will begin the physical preparation for her next project with Anurag Kashyap. The dates were tentative at the moment, and Kriti’s prep for the latter would depend on the progress of her schedule on the Shahid Kapoor starrer.

The actress’ film with Anurag is touted to be an action entertainer. There had been reports that the film would be a remake of the Hollywood action film Kill Bill, directed by Quentin Tarantino. However, Kriti dispelled these speculations in an earlier interview, saying although the plot revolved around a tale of revenge Anurag ‘did not do remakes’. The actress had also stated that she needed to get physically stronger as the film was rife with action sequences.

Meanwhile Kriti’s upcoming releases include Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya, Tiger Shroff’s Ganapath, Prabhas’ Adipurush and Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada.
