Krrish 4 release date: Here's when Hrithik Roshan's movie is likely to be out in theatres

Hrithik Roshan's Krrish 4 is currently making the buzz for being one of the most expensive films to be made. Although the budget of the film is not confirmed, it was attributed to the movie facing delays in release. However, we might now have a tentative release date for this film, if the circumstances allow it.

When will Krrish 4 be out in theatres?

According to various reports, Krrish 4 is aiming to go on floors in 2025 itself. If the movie does start production this year, it is expected to be completed by the end of the year-end. This leaves the tentative release date for Krrish 4 as 2026. Nonetheless, an official update on the film will be out by this year-end, so for now, Krrish 4 is not shelved.

Siddharth Anand, Karan Malhotra back out of Krrish 4?

Hrithik Roshan's War director Siddharth Anand was expected to produce Krrish 4. However, a report on Bollywood Hungama had mentioned that he has backed out of the project. Furthermore, Karan Malhotra was expected to direct the movie but it looks like the whole team is being revamped with a new development. Thus, Karan might not associate himself with Krrish 4 either.

Hrithik Roshan's switch from romance to action

Hrithik started off as a romantic hero with his debut film Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (available for streaming on Zee5 via OTTplay Premium). He made the switch to action after Hrithik became the desi superhero, Krrish. Touted as the sequel to Koi... Mil Gaya, Krrish introduced Hrithik to superhero-action and he continued the genre with War. The sequel of the film, a part of the YRF Spy Universe, War 2 is scheduled to release in theatres soon. The movie is helmed by Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji and stars Kiara Advani as well as Jr. NTR in pivotal roles.
