With such time and again proven successful track record, it only became needless to say that all the eyes were trained on Rakesh Roshan to announce his next film. This time round, yet again, the news about ‘Krrish 4’ has started making the rounds. As per the latest buzz, this time round, it's not going to be ‘Papa Roshan’ who will be directing Hrithik Roshan in ‘Krrish 4’. The latest buzz states that it will be Karan Malhotra who will be directing Hrithik Roshan in the much-awaited installment. As for Hrithik Roshan, he is these days busy with the intensive shooting of ‘WAR 2’, which is being directed by Ayan Mukerji and also ‘Fighter’, which is being directed by Siddharth Anand. The official announcement of the same is being awaited with bated breath by many cinegoers.
In the year 2019, Hrithik Roshan, in an interview with PTI, had said, “Right after ‘WAR’, I am going to sit with my father, get everyone together and restart work on Krrish 4. We had put it a little on the side because dad was recovering. Now that he is better, we will kick-start it once more. Only recently, speaking to India Today, Rakesh Roshan gave an update about ‘Krrish 4’ by saying, “Very soon something should come up. We will know shortly. It is in the works.”
For the unversed, this is not the first time Karan Malhotra will be directing Hrithik Roshan. Earlier, he had directed Hrithik Roshan in ‘Agneepath’, which was the remake of Amitabh Bachchan starrer by the same name. Besides Hrithik Roshan, ‘Agneepath’ also starred the late Rishi Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and
Priyanka Chopra in the important roles. With its music composed by the composer duo Ajay–Atul, the film went onto become a bonafide hit at the box-office. With the combination of Karan Malhotra and Hrithik Roshan proving to be a super successful story at the box office, many are hopeful and confident that, this time too, Karan Malhotra directing Hrithik Roshan in ‘Krrish 4’ will prove to be a bigger hit than before, if at all the buzz about Karan Malhotra coming on board to direct the film is true.
