Krrish 4: What to expect from the Hrithik Roshan starrer film as the most-celebrated Indian superhero returns

When Hrithik Roshan took the Krrish mask again after 15 years to announce the return of the most-celebrated Indian superhero, it is certain that the audience’s hearts skipped a beat. With a short motion poster, the actor had promised his fans a surprising future as his caption goes like ‘The past is done. Let’s see what the future brings.’

The Krrish franchise of Rakesh Roshan kicked off their movies in 2003 with Koi...Mil Gaya, which was followed by Krrish in 2006 and Krrish 3 in 2013. The films revolve around a mentally disabled boy colliding with an alien and later his son growing up to be a reluctant superhero. Centering Hrithik as the protagonist, the movie Krrish has Priyanka Chopra playing the female lead. 

As the audiences are on their toes for the next instalment to the franchise, here are some theories and expectations that we have from Krrish 4.

Time Travel

According to Pinkvilla’s source, the fourth instalment of Krrish will also be navigating through the concept of time travel. The source had also revealed that the makers are planning to bring the universe of Koi...Mil Gaya and Krrish together, which is definitely a thrilling element to wait for. Though many details are yet to be out, it is confirmed that the key factor in the movie will be time travel.

Larger-than-life

As we have already seen and enjoyed the previous larger-than-life stories from the franchise, the next one is also expected to be nothing but the same. Tracking the style of Rakesh-Hrithik duo, it is an easier guess to make that the hardworking father and son are keen to deliver full justice to the franchise. However, the source has also confirmed the same to the entertainment portal.

Jadoo

Anyone who loves the franchise would never forget Jadoo, the alien who mesmerised us. Though Hrithik has spoken about the possible return of Jadoo, audiences are still skeptical if Krrish 4 will bring him again. If it happens, it will surely be a visual and intellectual treat for sci-fi lovers. 

The antagonists

According to a report in Mid-Day, Krrish may have to face an army of villians in the upcoming franchise. The director seems to have introduced a group of super villains to the battlefield, and has reportedly hired a Hollywood designer to create the look.

Hrithik to sing again

Hrithik is all set to sing again for Krrish 4, after humming some lines in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Kites. Music director Rajesh Roshan who has composed the music for the Krrish franchise so far has revealed the same to Pinkvilla earlier. “There will be one song for sure,” he said. This has only added to the excitement of fans of the actor and the superhero film.
